EP#30 The Days We’ll Miss Someday: Finding Gratitude in the Busy Season

In this episode, I’m sharing some reflections from the middle of one of the busiest seasons of life.

Between work, long commutes, track meets, soccer games, and all the responsibilities that come with raising a family, I’ve been feeling exhausted—and also incredibly aware of how quickly time is passing.

As parents, professionals, and human beings, it’s easy to get caught up in the stress of our schedules and the weight of everything on our plates. But what if we looked at it differently?

What if instead of “I have to,” we started saying “I get to”?

In this conversation, I explore how our thoughts shape our experience, why the way we start our mornings matters, and how gratitude can completely change the way we move through our days.

We talk about:

• Why time feels like it’s speeding up as we get older
• The mindset shift from “I have to” to “I get to”
• Finding meaning in the exhausting seasons of life
• The importance of being present with the people we love
• How our thoughts influence our emotions and actions
• Letting go of negativity and limiting beliefs
• The impact of social media, news, and what we choose to consume
• Why gratitude isn’t just a cliché—it’s a practice
• Learning to appreciate the ordinary moments before they become memories

This episode is a reminder that life isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.

The busy days won’t last forever. The track meets, soccer games, school events, and late nights are all part of a season that will someday be gone.

The question is: How do you want to experience it while you’re in it?
